Home Learning
Why do we set home learning?
-
Your child’s home learning links with what they are learning in lessons to allow them to practise retrieval and prepare them for the next lesson.
-
Students are expected to attend at least one extra-curricular PE club per week as their home learning for core PE.
-
This timetable shows the day that your child’s home learning will be set on Google Classroom.
-
Your child will be rewarded for completing their home learning with raffle tickets, credits, postcards and phone calls home.
-
Your child's home learning links with what you are learning in lessons to help you practise and improve your knowledge.
-
Doing home learning will make the next lesson easier because you will have more knowledge.
-
All the research shows that students who complete home learning regularly will make an additional five months of progress each year than students who don’t - your marks will go up!
