Sixth Form
We offer an expanding post-16 provision providing a range of academic and vocational qualifications such as A-Levels, AS-Levels, Applied A-Level, BTEC and GNVQ. Every effort will be made to offer subjects in which students demonstrate particular interest as well as those that are enhanced by our specialist facilities.
The Sixth Form is an integral part of the Academy. To study at The Oxford Academy there are no formal entry requirements. You will need to:
- Choose courses appropriate to your qualifications
- Have a positive attitude to study
The main aim of The Oxford Academy Sixth Form is to enable students to improve their academic qualifications while developing self-reliance, personal maturity and leadership skills.
The Sixth Form has its privileges and responsibilities. If you enter The Oxford Academy Sixth Form, we shall expect you to show a sensible and co-operative attitude to your work, to your fellow students and staff. Our guarantee is that we will provide you with an education in a stimulating, mature and caring atmosphere. Ultimately, The Oxford Academy provides excellent opportunities to make the very most of your abilities.
The main Sixth Form Open Evening is held annually before Christmas. Dates are publicised in the local press and on the website.
