On Thursday 15 October, Jack FM visited the Year 7s of The Oxford Academy for their newly set-up campaign, 'Are You in the Zone?' The campaign aims to persuade people to get to school in a healthy way. Jack FM visited secondary schools around Oxfordshire and complimented us on being the best behaved students they had visited!
Jack FM have been running a competition to create a winning radio advert to be played on FM 107.9. We are delighted to say that we were chosen as the winner! Five students produced a superb radio advertisement: James Cox, Kareen El-Kority, Carl Chamberlain, Joshua Jones-Charlett and Bojan Tetek.
Experts from Jack FM and FM 107.9 will be visiting the Academy to make a live recording of the students performing their advert. Once completed, the advert will be played across the radio station for four weeks.
Everyone involved had a brilliant day and thought carefully about safe and healthy routes to school. The teamwork demonstrated how well we work together to achieve our goals.
