Community Sports & Clubs

Welcome to the community information section of The Oxford Academy website. Here you will find all information relating to community engagement through sport, activities and events, and all of the relevant contact details.

We are an extended school which means we are open to pupils, parents and the local community and will aim to provide services which have been identified by local needs. If we are unable to provide services within the school site we will source these services within our wider community.

Some of the services we currently provide:

Holiday Programmes (OAYP/Active Communities)

  • October Half-Term (3 Days)
  • Christmas (3 days - Football)
  • Easter (1 x week)
  • Summer (4 x weeks)

Extended Services - School Sport/Activities (Lunchtime/After School)

  • Football/Futsal
  • Golf
  • Fishing
  • Rowing
  • Climbing
  • Netball
  • Cricket
  • Rugby
  • Dodgeball
  • Cheerleading
  • Badminton
  • Table Tennis

Clubs (Homework/Study Sessions)

  • Science
  • English
  • Behaviour Support – Board Games

Additional Activities/Projects:

Primary Football 5-11 yrs (In partnership with Oxford United FC)

Primary Health Project (In partnership with Primary Care Trust and Youth Sport Trust)
