Duty Assistant      

Community Facilities based at The Oxford Academy, Littlemore, Oxford

 

Hours: 18 Hours per week worked over required shifts, to be agreed with Duty Manager

Grade: 3 (NJC rates) Point 2 - 3            

Salary: £17,711 - £18,065 pa – actual part time salary £8,616 to £8,788   

              

This is an all-year-round post

 

We are recruiting for passionate individual to be part of a team who can deliver front of house customer service and be responsible for all facility operations during their shift/working hours.

 

OX4 offers an extensive range of indoor and outdoor facilities within the Oxford Academy to include sports pitches, a sports dome with 3G pitch, floodlit AstroTurf and MUGA’s, hall hire, classroom and function rooms. 

As a specialist sports Academy, we recognise the importance and benefits of providing participation and sporting opportunities to the community and therefore operate these facilities outside of Academy hours as a commercial venture.

 

Although not essential applicants will have some knowledge and experience in the leisure industry, ideally experience in the fitness environment and or customer service environment.  They will hold a current valid First Aid certificate or be prepared to undergo the relevant training.

 

This role requires a degree of flexibility in terms of hours as the applicant will be expected to work evenings and weekends within the range of:

           

Evenings:                  Mondays to Friday 16:30 – 23:00

Weekends:                Saturday and Sunday 08:30 -21:30
