Salary: Grade: 8 (NJC Pay Rates) £24,313 to £26,999 pa pro-rata (actual salary £17,885 to £19,861 pa)
Hours and Work Pattern: 32.5 per week (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm)
Contract Type: Permanent – term time only, paid 43.55 weeks per year
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of a Cover Supervisor at The Oxford Academy.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable person to cover short term absence of teaching staff, taking sole charge of a group of students. Students will learn by carrying out work prepared by the classroom teacher as directed by the Cover Supervisor. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and keep students on task.
Invigilating at exam times will also be a requirement of this role.
Candidates should be organised, self-motivated and confident as well as being an extremely good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and good IT skills.

Position: TOA Play PE Coach
Working pattern: Term Time Only
Hours: 15 hours per week (working 2 days a week)
Salary: Grade 1 - £17,362 pa, actual part time salary £5,895 pa
The Oxford Academy is looking for a part time, TOA Play PE Coach to deliver sports sessions to children and young people in school hours and extra-curricular activities at lunch times and after school. Delivering Intra and Inter school games. The successful candidate will deliver outstanding PE and Sport instruction to children aged 4 to 11.
As part of the role you will be assisting and leading multi sports sessions in the school setting, all aspects of the community schools initiative will be undertaken and you will be expected to plan, deliver, review multi sports sessions and competitions whilst maintaining a high standard of safety in line with the Academy’s health and safety commitment and duty of care.
The ideal candidate will have a sports coach qualification, be self-motivated as well as having GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths. Please refer to job description for further details.
