An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of an Attendance, Admissions and Administrative Assistant at The Oxford Academy.  We are a Good school with Outstanding Leadership Management and Professional Development following our Ofsted inspection in 2016.

 

The Attendance, Admissions and Administrative Assistant will work with the Attendance and Admissions Officer and be part of the Student Engagement team but will also hold an administrative role supporting within reception.

 

This role is to work with the Attendance and Admissions Officer in maintaining the school’s records, ensuring that they are kept in line with statutory requirements.  Administrative Assistant duties will be to work in conjunction with reception staff.

 

The successful candidate will need to be a team player, be reliable, hardworking and someone that works to strict time scales.  They would need to be adaptable to support the daily requirements of a busy secondary school and have a clear understanding of confidentiality.  This role is to provide excellent administrative support for which the successful candidate will need to have keen attention to detail along with strong communication skills. Safeguarding Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of a Safeguarding Officer at The Oxford Academy.  We are a Good school with Outstanding Leadership Management and Professional Development following our Ofsted inspection in 2016 and ranked in the top 0.2% of schools nationally and where behaviour in and around the school is postive.

 

We are looking to appoint a Safeguarding Officer who is highly organised, emotionally resilient and able to prioritise a conflicting workload.  Experience of working within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.  The successful candidate will need to have a good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding procedures and must be a clear and effective communicator and have the ability to build and sustain appropriate relationships and manage personal and professional boundaries with children and young people. 

 

This role requires the successful candidate to possess a full clean driving license and be a car owner with availability to use their car in work.  There will be the need to adjust working hours to suit the needs and demands of the school which will include attending evening and early morning meetings.

Cover Supervisor

Job Start: ASAP 

Salary: Grade: 8 (NJC Pay Rates) £24,313 to £26,999 pa pro-rata (actual salary £17,885 to £19,861 pa)

Hours and Work Pattern: 32.5 per week (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm)

Contract Type: Permanent – term time only, paid 43.55 weeks per year

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of a Cover Supervisor at The Oxford Academy.  A Good school with Outstanding Leadership Management and Professional Development following and ranked in the top 0.2% of schools nationally and where behaviour in and around the school is positive.

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable person to cover short term absence of teaching staff, taking sole charge of a group of students. Students will learn by carrying out work prepared by the classroom teacher as directed by the Cover Supervisor.  The primary focus will be to maintain good order and keep students on task.

 

Invigilating at exam times will also be a requirement of this role.

 

Candidates should be organised, self-motivated and confident as well as being an extremely good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and good IT skills.
