IT success at the Academy

ICT teaching and support staff worked closely with a group of Year 11 students, supporting them to complete their GCSE course early. As a result, these students have already obtained their Level 2 qualification in ICT which is the equivalent of one GCSE. 

This demonstrates ongoing progress and means that one third of the year have already successfuly gained their GCSE grade for ICT. A number of students are now going on to follow a further ICT qualification using the Microsoft Application Suite; an industry standard award for IT.
