Transformation Trust Rock Assembly

40 students and 5 members of staff recently attended the Transformation Trust’s Rock Assembly 2011 at London's iconic venue, the O2 Arena.  The students were selected based on having 100% attendance to the Academy in this academic year having an excellent record of behaviour and effort in lessons.

We had a wonderful day. We arrived at 11:00am to visit the ‘University Village’ and found out more about University life and the benefits of Higher Education.  The concert or assembly began with a talk from the founder of moneysavingexpert.com, Martin Lewis about how students can afford to go to university regardless of financial circumstances and increased tuition fees. This was followed by performances by some of the biggest names in music.
